Roberta Herbst, , M.S. – Director of Programs 
Ms. Herbst holds a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education from Towson University and an undergraduate degree in Science Education from Stony Brook University in New York. Ms. Herbst currently serves as Director of Programs and Communication at the Center for a Healthy Maryland, where she is responsible for the development, procurement, and oversight of grant funded projects. She worked on the Cancer Prevention in Community Practice program at the Center (then the MedChi Foundation) from 1996 to 1998 and from 1998 to 2012 directed the Maryland Skin Cancer Prevention Program as well as two online skin cancer training programs for Maryland primary care physicians. Ms. Herbst worked on the Interpreter Resources project in 2008-2009 and served as Project Director of the Center’s two Breast Cancer physician education grants from Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Maryland from 2011 to 2013. From 2012 to 2014 she was Project Director for the Center for the Employed Physician and the Maryland Physician Leadership Institute, two programs funded through grants from The Physicians Foundation.In 2015 Ms. Herbst became Project Director for the Physician Leadership Certificate Program through the Maryland Physician Leadership Institute, the Center’s third grant funded program from The Physicians Foundation.

Shayna Banfield, M.S., CHES – Project Manager
Mrs. Banfield holds a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education from Towson University and an undergraduate degree in Biology from Morgan State University. She has worked in the Baltimore County community as a Public Health Educator for HIV Prevention and Cancer Prevention Programs. Mrs. Banfield serves as the Project Manager for the Maternal Mortality Review Program and staffs the Public Health Committee as well as the Maternal Child Health Sub-Committee
