Ms. Rowland holds a Master of Science degree in Community Health Promotion from West Virginia University and a Master of Arts in International Studies from American University. She received her B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining the Center she served as Executive Director of Allegany Health Right. She has expertise in program development and management.

Roberta M. Herbst, MS

Ms. Herbst holds a Master of Science degree in Community Health Education from Towson University. She worked on the Cancer Prevention in Community Practice Program at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society from 1996 to 1998 and since 1998 has directed the Maryland Skin Cancer Prevention Program. Ms. Herbst currently serves as Manager for Program Development and Communications at the Center for a Healthy Maryland, where she is responsible for program development and the oversight of grant funded projects.
Meena R. Abraham, DrPH, MPH
Program Consultant
Dr. Abraham holds a Doctor of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She serves as a consultant on the Center's public health programs, primarily focusing on fetal and infant mortality review, maternal mortality review, HIV/AIDS, and buprenorphine.
Erin Johnson, MPH, CHES

Ms. Johnson received her Master of Public Health degree from Drexel University in 2006. During this time she also became certified as a health education specialist (CHES). Prior to joining the Center staff, she worked for LifeBridge Health as a community health educator and domestic violence educator/interventionist. Ms. Johnson works primarily on maternal and child health programs.
