The Center for a Healthy Maryland announce the Campaign for the Physician Health Programs. This $450,000 fundraising campaign honors 45 years of service to physicians, to other healthcare professionals and to the healthcare consumers of Maryland.
2023 marks the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Maryland Physician Health Program. We want to celebrate our successes and the significant contributions we have made to the medical provider community. We also want to let you know about our plans and invite you to support us as we grow. You can help by making a contribution to the MPHP, or by making a gift in honor of, or in memory of a family member, a friend, or a colleague.
Campaign Priorities
Expand Program Offerings
No one has to tell healthcare providers that their work is stressful and difficult even in the best of times. Expanding into healthcare provider – focused wellness and self-care programs, specific problem-focused educational and support groups, and peer coaching and support are a few of the new program offering in development.
Expand Outreach
How do we reach more providers and help them see the value of early intervention? Areas where we see opportunities are in wider education (CMEs) and talks and presentations to provider groups.
Establish Research
While we have been doing this work for 45 years, we cannot miss any opportunities to show the effectiveness of the PHP model and how it has helped our Maryland providers.
Expand and Enhance Program Operations
As we look to expand programs, outreach, and research we need to expand operations, infrastructure, and staff.
