Bridge the Gap Mentoring Program
Your Support Matters!
The Bridge the Gap Program is an innovative mentorship and education initiative designed to address the national shortage of physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, while increasing diversity and representation in medicine. By connecting students from underrepresented backgrounds with physicians, pre-med/medical students, and other healthcare representatives, Bridge the Gap provides early exposure, guidance, and support to help participants succeed in a career in medicine.
Bridge the Gap welcomes the active participation of:
- Practicing physicians, residents, nurses, pre-med and medical students
- Individuals committed to mentorship, equity, and inclusion in healthcare
- Mentors willing to engage with students throughout the program year (approx. 4-6 hours per month)
